To support farmers, Punjab's Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Department has organized seven teams to deliver quality seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides.

Punjab's Agriculture Minister stated that the teams will inspect shops, manufacturing units, and conduct quality checks for farmers' supplies.

The flying squad teams, led by Joint Directors & Chief Agriculture Officers, will diligently oversee the sales & availability of agricultural supplies to ensure farmers' needs are met.

As per an official statement, each district will have one dedicated team from flying squad the, covering three to four districts.

The Agriculture Minister urged farmers to insist on receiving receipts for their purchases and verify that they are charged the correct amount mentioned on the bills.

In the absence of receipts, the Agriculture Minister advised farmers to promptly report the issue to the relevant officer, assuring them of strict action against non-compliant vendors.
