Highlights from Google I/O 2023

Google Bard 

Google has recently introduced new features for Bard, a programming language model that is based on the PaLM 2 model. With the ability to support over 20 programming languages, Bard can now assist developers in simplifying the coding and debugging processes.

New Gen LLM, PaLM 2

Google has revealed that they have incorporated the PaLM 2 model into more than 25 of their products, which include Gecko, Otter, Bison, and Unicorn. PaLM 2 is capable of supporting over 100 languages, making it a powerful tool for language-based tasks.

Emails Just Got Easier

"Help Me Write" is a new extension that has been added to the Smart Reply and Smart Response features. It is equipped with useful tools such as "Elaborate" and "Refine", which makes the task of composing effective emails much more straightforward and effortless than before.

AI for Google Cloud

Google has launched Duet AI for Google Cloud, an AI-powered tool for programming tasks. The tool can assist with code completion, review, and real-time function generation. Duet AI is designed to streamline programming workflows and improve productivity for Google Cloud users.

Google Workspace

Google is launching several GenAI features for Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets. These advancements are part of the new Duet AI for Workspace product. Users and testers will have access later this year, followed by a global release.
